Algerian army kills 5 terrorists

The Algerian Ministry of Defense said Saturday its troops killed five terrorists in Dahno Lahmar area between Al-Sawrah and Tindouf towns, west Algeria. The military operation followed tips received late last week that a group of militants, belonging to the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat - an offshoot of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), plans infiltrate into Al-Sawrah town, according to a military statement. The bodies of the terrorists are under military forensic inspection to determine their identities, it added
