Advisory Council Approves Draft Law on "National Address"

The Advisory Council held Monday its regular weekly session during its 45th ordinary session under the chairmanship of HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, the approved agenda of the meeting was read out, then the Council ratified the minutes of its previous meeting.
The Advisory Council listened to the report of the Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee on a draft law on the "National Address". The Council approved the draft law and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
Then, a memo by the Cabinet General Secretariat on a draft law amending some provisions of the Advocacy Law issued by Law No. (23) of 2006 was read out. The Council decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study it and present a report thereon to the Council.
