Abul Gheit meets FAJ delegation

Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit had a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ), Director of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Moaid al Lami, on the conditions of Arab reporters.

During the meeting, Lami said that Abul Gheit listened to all problems facing Arab reporters, particularly in Iraq, pledging the Arab League's full support of the war-hit country.

The meeting also took up the conditions of Arab journalists, Lami added, underlining that the two sides agreed on signing a cooperation protocol in this regard.

Abul Gheit, during the meeting, stressed the necessity of preserving Iraq's unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, Lami said.
