
Abu Dhabi Center for Corporate Governance (ADCCG), an initiative by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) to positively contribute to the development of the national economy, has organised a seminar titled ''Governance of Information / Cyber Security".
Speaker Azhar Zia-ur-Rehman, a governance consultant, tackled a wide range of issues and aspects including damage being done by the lack of the governance of information security, importance of information security and a roadmap for information security governance.
He also answered questions about the governance of information security and the responsibility of the board of directors and the standards and codes about the governance of information security.
He spoke about the largest cyber security attack which took place in the United States in September 2014 in which 56 million credit cards and client accounts were hacked.
