Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is set to arrive here on Saturday for a three-day official visit to Egypt where he is scheduled to meet senior officials on the latest Palestinian situation. During his stay here, Abbas is expected to hold talks with Interim President Adly Mansour and Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Military Production Gen. Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on the Palestinian developments and Israeli violations of Palestinian holy sites, Palestinian ambassador in Cairo Barakat Al-Fara said in news remarks on Friday. He will also brief them on the outcomes of his recent talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Bethlehem and a possible re-launching of Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations, Al-Fara added. The Palestinian leader is also scheduled to meet Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayib on Israeli violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque and other religious sites, the Palestinian diplomat pointed out.
