Nine people were killed and 45 others injured, including 15 in critical conditions, in a road accident that occurred in northern Morocco on Sunday.

Local authorities in the city of Fez pointed out on Monday that the accident occurred when a bus, carrying a group of young people coming back from a picnic, overturned on the road linking the cities of Fez and Sidi Kacem.

An investigation was launched.
