7 militants killed in an attack north of Babylon

Intelligence elements in the province of Babylon killed seven gunmen who tried to attack on Wednesday 19 Feb. a checkpoint in the area of al-Abed wayis in Jurf al-Sakhar district, 45 km north-west of Hilla.A police source in Babylon told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA/ that the gunmen tried to storm a checkpoint and security forces clashed with them and killed them, indicating that a person was carrying sophisticated communication devices and appears to be the group's leader.
