691 Syrian refugees cross into Jordan

As many as 691 Syrian refugees fleeing violence at home crossed into Jordan on Thursday, said a Jordanian security source close to the Syrian refugees affairs department. He added that 138 Syrian refugees voluntarily returned home More than two million refugees have now fled Syria's civil war, piling pressure on neighboring host countries, the United Nations said. Jordan now hosts 600,000 Syrian refugees, most of them live in host communities in the north, while 120,000 are at the teeming Zaatari camp in the Jordanian desert.
