52 Kuwaitis stand for National Assembly

The Ministry of Interior received on Saturday the tenth and final day of applying for the National Assembly elections 2013, the papers of 52 parliamentary hopefuls. The applicants include 50 males and two females. The figure took to 418 the total number of candidates for the elections due on July 27; these include eight females. The Ministry's General Department of Legal Affairs, the election commission, started receiving the applications of candidates on June 27 until today.
