4m children in Syria affected by conflict

About four million children in Syria are affected by the internal conflict and they urgently need humanitarian help, a senior UNICEF official has said. UNICEF Emergency Operations Manager Ted Chaiban said, “Around 900,000 Syrian refugee children are displaced in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.” The UNICEF has offered the refugee children help at different levels, the UNICEF representative in Jordan said and added the organization is co-operating with the Ministry of Education in Jordan and Save the Children Foundation on back to school campaign which is funded by individuals promoting children’s welfare.
