The National News Agency (NNA) said that Omar Al-Atrash, Samir Al-Hajiri, and a companion were killed in Ne'mat area, in an armed ambush in Jarrod Arsal. The report noted that a group from the people of the border town of Arsal in the eastern Bekaa was working to ensure the return of the dead bodies and to hold a funeral in the town. Meanwhile, a Lebanese television station reported that Al-Atrash was accused in the bombings of Al-Ruwais and Beer Al-Abed in the southern suburbs of Beirut, including planning to fire rockets at same area.
