
Clashes between students Al-Azhar University and some residents at Madinat Naser, east of Cairo, led to the death of one individual, said an official at the Egyptian Interior Ministry here late Thursday. The official said that some students, allegedly affiliated with the terrorist-listed Muslim Brotherhood, were rallying at the Madinet Naser area which led some townsfolk to try and halt the rally, resulting in clashes. After the smoke had cleared, several people were taken to the hospital for treatment and apparently one individual succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead, said the official.
