London - AFP

Bobby Zamora claimed Tuesday the "vast majority" among the Fulham squad do not see eye to eye with manager Martin Jol, hence the exodus of players from Craven Cottage -- himself included. The 31-year-old England international striker left Fulham to join west London rivals QPR in January, one of several players to have left the Cottagers this year. The 31-year-old claimed he was not alone in falling out with the Dutch boss. Asked by the London Evening Standard newspaper whether he through the flood of departures from the Cottage was due to an issue in the squad, Zamora said: "Yes. I left because I didn't see eye to eye with Martin Jol. "I think that is the case with the vast majority of players there now. "A lot of the lads aren't happy. But that's that. There were a few bits and pieces but we just didn't see eye to eye." Clint Dempsey, Danny Murphy, Andrew Johnson, Dickson Etuhu and Mousa Dembele were among the players to leave the Cottagers in the pre-season. Fulham declined to comment on Zamora's claims.
