Arsène Wenger believes that women's football is becoming far more competitive. Arsenal Ladies are aiming to defend the treble they won last season and they continue their WSL campaign against Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Thursday. Laura Harvey's team face mounting competition from a host of rivals and Wenger says this can only be a good thing for the development of the game in England. "I like the Ladies team because they have been here since I got here and are always in a strong position," said Wenger. "It is a battle at that level and women's football is becoming stronger and stronger. The teams in England are developing well. "As much as Arsenal were dominating for years with a margin, it is not as easy anymore and it has become much more difficult."
