Arsène Wenger is delighted that Faye White is expecting her first child - and has backed her to continue her distinguished career. The Arsenal Ladies captain announced last Wednesday that she is pregnant and the news prompted her to call time on her international career. But Wenger believes that White could return for the Gunners once her baby is born. "It is important that our Ladies give some hope to the masculine football team that they can get some great players if he is a boy!" he told the Official Matchday Programme. "She has had a long career, a great career, and I am not sure it is the end of it because she can still decide to go on. But I am happy for her."
