Holloway - Arabstoday

Arsène Wenger admits it is “very difficult” to know which two sides will progress from Group A at Euro 2012. Co-hosts Poland have been drawn against Russia, the Czech Republic and Greece, and each nation will fancy their chances of making it through. Arsenal have a number of players who are likely to feature, and Wenger says the group could be too tough to call. “It is the one everybody would like to be in, but it is very difficult to choose who will come out of it,” he told Arsenal Player. “You would think the Czech Republic and Russia are maybe the two favourites, but Poland at home will be highly focused and it's rare to see a home team that doesn't come through the group stage. “So who will suffer from that - Russia or Czech Republic? I don't know. I am behind Rosicky and Arshavin, and we have as well Wojciech and Fabianski with Poland. “Greece will not qualify. With the situation they have in their country, they might have a little bit of extra solidarity and fighting spirit, but at the start, only considering football, you have to say Czech Republic and Russia are the favourites. Poland is a strong outsider because they play at home.”
