Txiki Begiristain: Barcelona is the best

The Catalan club's former sporting director also believes a win for the Blaugrana at the weekend could see them go on to claim the league title.Former Barcelona director Txiki Begiristain has stated his belief that the Catalans have a psychological advantage over Real Madrid ahead of Saturday's Clasico at Camp Nou.The Blaugrana have won three out of their five games against Madrid in 2011-12 alone, while drawing the other two, and Begiristain feels the previous encounters could play a role again in Saturday's meeting."You have to look at the previous confrontations between the two, and Barcelona have the advantage based on the results from earlier this season," Begiristain stated to EFE.The former Spain international then backed Barcelona to win the Liga title if they manage to beat Madrid on Saturday."Madrid would still have a one-point lead, but the feeling that La Liga is slipping away from them will get even bigger. Seeing a 10-point lead shrink to just one point will affect them," he added."Things will get really hot in the remainder of the season. Both teams will have to win all their games, and that won't be easy."The match at Camp Nou kicks off at 20.00CET.
