Wojciech Szczesny admits he still has a long way to go in his career and will not allow any praise to go to his head. The Polish goalkeeper has earned a host of plaudits this season after a series of commanding performances as Arsenal have climbed the table. But Szczesny insists that at this stage in his development, it is essential to maintain his focus and take any compliments with a pinch of salt. “It's always satisfying to hear people praising you,” he said. “But I'm at the beginning of my career with a long way to go. I'm looking forward to playing for this Club for a long, long time. “At this age, it's very important for a player to play regularly and I'm very happy that I was given the chance. I'm just trying to do my best for the Club.”
