Milan - Arabstoday
The former Primavera boss has revealed that it was made clear to him during a two-hour meeting with the Nerazzurri supremo that success is all that matters to the club.Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni has joked that club president Massimo Moratti inserted one simple clause in his contract: to win.The 36-year-old was the surprise choice to take charge at San Siro following the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri in March, having had no previous Serie A experience on his resume. However, the Nerazzurri's former Primavera boss has explained that Moratti only asked one thing of him during his 'job interview'.“At the end he told me, 'coach, you have to win. We have to win'. It's a trivial and simple agreement," Stramaccioni told reporters at a press conference on Friday."To a certain extent I think it's a clause that the Inter president will include for the next hundred years! He'll ask that of all the coaches of this team."It's something simple, an anecdote, a joke, but it really happened. He asked this of us: To do well and to win.“It's an Inter clause, because when you're with Inter winning is a must."Stramaccioni has made an encouraging start to his Nerazzurri career, with the team still unbeaten after victories over Genoa and Siena, either side of a draw with Cagliari. However, even if he oversees victories in all six of Inter's remaining Serie A games, the former Bologna defender is unsure if he will be offered the job on a permanent basis."This I honestly don't know," Stramaccioni insisted. "Winning from here until the end is a dream, but that period of time doesn't exist for me now."Only Udinese versus Inter [on Saturday] does. And Udine is one of the most difficult grounds in all of Italy"Anything can happen. We'll see."Inter's crucial clash with fourth-placed Udinese gets under way at the Friuli at 20.45CET.
