Qualification to second round warms our hearts

President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika extended Thursday night his congratulations to the Algerian football team on its "brilliant qualification" to the knockout stage of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
"It is with a great pride warming our hearts and those of all Algerians, including supporters in the Arab, Muslim and African countries, that we attend your qualification to the second round of the World Cup in Brazil," President Bouteflika stressed in a message addressed immediately after the match between Algeria and Russia match, to players and management staff of the Algerian team.
"The support of the fans, who accompanied you in Brazil, has been relentless. Viewers, glued to their screens, followed carefully your move and action, and reveled your technical achievements," the Head of State affirmed.
"You lived up to the expectations of the Arab nation and Muslim and African peoples. Their joy following your qualification to the second round is the fraternal bond that unites them. Your success is neither coincidence nor a gift. It is the result of your good performance, your perseverance and your adequate preparation," he added.
