Harry Redknapp: paok clash is a must-win game for Tottenham

Spurs currently sit third in the group but are level on points with Rubin Kazan and are only one behind the Greeks, so a good result will put them in a strong position for their final match against pointless Shamrock Rovers. Redknapp told the club’s official website: "It's a must-win game, we are a point behind PAOK and you can see Rubin Kazan beating Shamrock, you fancy them to get maximum points there, so we need try to get three points in this game." Tottenham have managed to stay in the mix even though they have been fielding somewhat weakened sides during the tournament. Redknapp has stated his priorities lie in the Premier League, so has rested star players such as Gareth Bale and Rafael Van der Vaart for these group matches. When they visited PAOK earlier in the tournament Redknapp’s side were held to a goalless draw, although the Greek side would have felt hard done by as they had the lion’s share of chances.  Redknapp went on to speak about the encounter and the atmosphere the Greek fans produced: "It was an amazing place to go and play, the fans, the noise, the atmosphere was just incredible. "This will be a difficult game. They are a good team. We need to win the game and we will do our best to do that."
