Coach of Waleed Al Rekraki of FUS Rabat said that he was confident that his team would not qualify for the group stage of CAF Champions League since their defeat in the first leg of Round 32 before Ahli Tripoli 2-0. He added, “I told the players immediately after our return from Tunisia that they lost their opportunity to qualify for the coming round.”
He added that it was expected that the second leg match would be difficult, praising the performance of the Libyan team. He congratulated the Libyan team for their good performance during the match. He added that they did their best to achieve positive result during the second leg, while they failed to meet the aspirations of their fans.
Despite the team’s exclusion from the CAF Champions League, he said, the team will exert its efforts to achieve positive results during the CAF Cup. He expressed his aspiration to achieve positive results during the tournament to reach to the final match and win the cup.
