La Roja's trainer has assured that the national team are not to blame for the attacker's injury, while admitting that he understands the concerns of club coaches.Chile coach Claudio Borghi has rejected the notion that his side were responsible for the muscular injury suffered by Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez last month. The former Udinese ace spent two weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a slight tear in the adductor muscle of his right leg in his substitute appearance during Barca's 3-1 victory against Sporting Gijon in early March. After the game, Barca coach Pep Guardiola blamed the Chile national team for the injury and said that Alexis was given the nod to play even though he lacked match sharpness."It is hard to tell a player to step onto the pitch and not give his all," Borghi told Esports COPE. "We understand that if the player is fine, he can play."He got injured and it is no one's fault, it was an accident and we hope it will not happen again in the future."We always talk to the players and we understand the concerns of the European coaches."Alexis has scored 11 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions for the Blaugrana so far this season.
