Berlusconi has called me every day

AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi believes his team must build on Sunday's 2-0 triumph over Cesena to finally turn over a new leaf. The victory at the San Siro was Milan's third win in 2015 and lifted them to eighth in Serie A.
"We played well against Cesena," Inzaghi told his club's official website. "But there is still a long way to go.
"We have to continue on this path. A positive result gives us more self-confidence, but we must improve and we know that.
"We have to be consistent now in our results. We need a few more wins in a row to get properly back on track but this is a good start."
Inzaghi had reason be pleased with the outcome against Cesena as his side kept a clean sheet for the first time since holding Roma to a goalless result on 20 December. The outcome also eased the pressure on Inzaghi, who has endured a difficult first season in charge of I Rossoneri.
Milan are out of the Scudetto race and are not competing in Europe this campaign. Milan bowed out of the Coppa Italia last month and will finish the fourth straight season without silverware.
"Since we started this negative period of form, (AC Milan president Silvio) Berlusconi has called me every day to be reassuring," Inzaghi said. "The president never criticised me. If anything he is too good to me."
Mexes boost
Next up for Milan is a trip to Verona to face Chievo on Saturday. They will be bolstered by the return of defender Philippe Mexes, who has missed his team's last four league games through suspension.
"Mexes will now come back and we hope to recover (injured defender Gabriel) Paletta," Inzaghi said. "It will be a hard match against Chievo. But we are Milan and with this attitude and confidence we can get back on track."
