Sana'a - QNA

Yemeni government forces, supported by Popular Resistance Committees fighters, managed to control two positions of Houthi militants and deposed Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh in the district of Oseilan in the South Yemeni governorate of Shabwah.
Local sources in the governorate said government forces continued to liberate the remaining areas of Houthi and Saleh militants and controlled today Ojeima'a Mount and Tabbat Al Safra'a in Oseilan district.
The sources added that the progress came after fierce clashes between the two sides in which a number of Houthi militants, noting that government forces captured military equipment and weapons of Houthi militants. They added that the Arab coalition warplanes attacked militants in Oseilan and the town of Bijan as government forces were progressing.
Yemeni government forces, supported by Popular Resistance Committees fighters, managed seven months ago to liberate the governorate of Shabwah from the control of Houthi militants and Saleh loyalists, but they were stationed anew in the town of Bijan and the district of Oseilan after they brought forces from neighbouring Al Byadha governorate.
