Aden - Arab Today

The death toll from a suicide attack that hit a camp of Yemeni special forces in Aden earlier Sunday rose to 40, Al Arabyia quoted a medical source as saying.

About 40 soldiers were killed and dozens others injured after a suicide attack hit al Solban Camp, East of Aden, the source added.

A suicide bomber blew himself up while a crowd of soldiers was gathering to take their salaries at the main gateway of the camp in northeastern Aden.

The attack comes one day after after 30 gunmen of pro-Saleh forces and Houthis were killed in an attack by the Yemeni army in Mandaba City in northern Saadah on the borders with Saudi Arabia.

The attack restored Yemeni army's full control over Mandaba area.
