Arab coalition warplanes on Friday conducted air strikes against positions of Houthi militants and forces loyal to Yemen's former president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sanaa.

Arab coalition warplanes on Friday conducted air strikes against positions of Houthi militants and forces loyal to Yemen's former president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sanaa.

The strikes targeted al Dulaymi air base, Sanaa airport surroundings and al Khurafi republican guard camp eastern Sanaa, local sources said.

Moreover, sounds of four massive explosions were heard northern and eastern Sanaa, the sources added.

Meanwhile, Arab coalition defense forces intercepted and destroyed a missile fired by Yemen's militants toward Ma'rib city.
