Afghan Military Operations
Kabul - MENA

Afghan Ministry of Defense said that 123 insurgents were killed, 76 wounded and 13 others arrested during military operations across the country in past 48 hours, the Khaama Press cited the ministry’s spokesman General Zahir Azimi as saying.

In a twitter post, the ministry stated that 13 soldiers from the Afghan National Army also embraced martyrdom during these operations.

This comes as Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have been conducting several large-scale military operations in parts of the country.

These independent operations started after ANSF took full responsibility of security from NATO-led coalition forces at the beginning of this year.
