Tehran - Irna

Iranians countrywide poured into streets on Friday, chanting anti- Zionist and anti-US slogans, to mark the World Quds Day. This year's World Qud Day is of high importance and completely different with the previous ones regarding its coincidence with the Islamic awakening movement in North Africa and the Middle East as well as fall of the pro-Zionist Regime regional dictators. Iranian demonstrators called for the liberation of Quds and the unity of Muslim Ummah against the Palestine occupiers. The World Quds Day marks an annual event falling on the last Friday of Ramadan, aimed at expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposing Zionist regime's occupation of the Palestinian territories and its control over the holy Quds.
