At least 17 more people have been killed in ongoing spate of killings, including a woman and a policeman, lost their lives in various incidents of targeted killings on Monday, reported Express 24/7. Two policemen along with 18 others were injured in firing incidents, while at least 10 vehicles were set ablaze in different areas, according to the Pakistani English language television news channel. The violence-affected areas included Surjani Town, Khuda Ki Basti, Pak Colony and Soldier Bazaar. Unidentified armed men in these areas forced residents to evacuate their homes, while the police escorted most of the residents to other places. One person was killed and another sustained injuries when gunmen opened fire at Quetta Sajji Hotel in block 17 of Gulistan-i-Jauhar last night. Earlier in the morning, unknown gunmen broke into a house and killed two people including a woman in Baldia Town. Two bodies were found tied up in sacks on Mianwali Colony roadside, whereas, police said that deceased were first shot and then put in sacks.
