UAE, Sri Lanka continue extradition talks

The second round of talks between UAE and Sri Lanka on extradition agreement and judicial assistance in criminal cases started here on Monday. A source at the UAE Ministry of Justice, said in a statement on this occasion that the two-day talks will complement the first round of talks held between the two countries in 2009. The same source pointed out that the discussion of conditions for extradition and requests for judicial assistance in criminal matters will continue as a prelude to reach a common formula and prepare two agreements in this regard.
