Tunisia calls for immediate action against violence in Syria

Tunisia issued a call to the Syrian government, the opposition there and civil society to put an immediate end to hostilities and start a veritable national dialogue. According the Tunisian Foreign Ministry, the Tunisian government and people are following with great concern and deep sadness the dangerous developments that Syria is going through. Tunisia clearly expressed its principal position against the resort to excessive and unjustified violence against the Syrian people''s demonstrations and marches claiming reforms and changes, the Ministry aid and condemned any attempts to use the situation in Syria to jeopardise its security or stability.
