Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Milagros Hernando, organized on Friday a ceremony in honor of the Director General of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Fadi Yarak, and bestowed upon him the Order of Civil Merit granted by Felipe VI, the King of Spain, at the Embassy's headquarter in Hadath.
In his speech, DG Fadi Yarak expressed his gratitude to his Majesty as well as to Spanish officials.
Yarak said that education was a key to change and progress today.
Ambassador Hernando, for her part, praised the work of Yarak and expressed the Spanish recognition of his collaboration with her country.
