Peaceful demonstrations call for reform in Jordan

Peaceful protests were held across Jordan after Friday prayers calling for speeding up reforms and fighting corruption. The demonstrators also called for the closing of the Israeli Embassy, stressing the need to realize reforms at all levels, Jordan Petra news agency reported. The protests were held in Amman and other cities including Irbid, Theban, Karak, and Tafileh.(
