Mohammad Bin Zayed receives Joseph Votel

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday (Wednesday) received Joseph Votel, Commander of the US Central Command, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Shaikh Mohammad and Votel discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between the US and UAE, and ways to bolster them in the fields of defence and military cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both nations.

Shaikh Mohammad and Votel exchanged views on a number of regional developments, in addition to other topics of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Barbara Leaf, US Ambassador to the UAE, and other senior officials.
