Kuwaiti cabinet denounces recent strikes by government employees

The Kuwaiti Cabinet on Tuesday denounced recent strikes by government employees, specially those that developed to confrontations, which ultimately hurt interests of citizens and the state. The cabinet also asserted importance of the statement of September 22nd which called for respect to public freedom and the right of expression but not at the expense of other people,reported the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA. It called on the government departments which witnessed strikes to take necessary measures against employees who violated the law by staging the strikes, but taking into consideration their demands to address them in an "objective and fair" manner
