Kurdistan Prime Minister hails Emir's keenness on Iraq unity

Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan Dr. Barham Salih lauded HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's keenness on Iraq's unity and stability and on developing the economic, political and cultural cooperation between the two countries. In an interview with Qatar daily (Al-Sharq), Dr. Salih highlighted the positive outcomes of his meeting with HH the Emir, which he said was an opportunity to discuss the latest Iraqi developments. Dr. Salih noted that the coming period will witness the activation of the agreements signed between Qatar and Kurdistan, especially in the investment in the electric power, refineries, refining industries, tourism, housing, infrastructure, agriculture and industrial projects. He highlighted Q-tel investments in Kurdistan via the (Asiacell) company, noting that there are promising opportunities for the Qatari investor in the region.
