Iran annouces respect for South Sudan people choise

The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced today its respect for the choice of the people in the Republic of South Sudan after the path of developments led to the formation of that republic. In a statement carried by Iranian News Agency (IRNA) the Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed the hoped that the new developments would contribute to the strengthening of stability and calm to provide the appropriate ground for a constructive cooperation in the region. The statement said Iran has followed with great concern the developments related to South Sudan throughout the recent years.
