
Giuseppe Saba has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of International Humanitarian City, IHC, as approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday, as part of its expansion initiative.
Saba is a leading logistics and support services expert with extensive experience with the United Nations.
H.R.H. Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, Chairperson of the IHC and wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced that Saba's appointment will take effect on 4th March, 2017, saying, "Giuseppe Saba holds a strong background in logistics and humanitarian aid experience, and played an instrumental role in the founding of the United Nation’s system of Humanitarian Response Depots, UNHRD, which H.H. Sheikh Mohammed has so generously supported."
"Saba will guide us in expanding and improving IHC in the years ahead to continue providing assistance to the needy in various parts of the world," Princess Haya added.
