FM to carry Sisi’s message to Lithuanian counterpart

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will deliver a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to his Lithuanian Counterpart Dalia Grybauskaitė.
Shoukry is planned to start a three-leg European tour to Lithuania, Russia and Estonia at the beginning of next week, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The tour comes in the framework of Egypt's keenness on promoting and developing bilateral relations with Lithuania and as part of Cairo's efforts to support the Egyptian candidate for the UNESCO director general position, the spokesman said.
The foreign minister is scheduled to meet Lithuania’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, he noted.
