EU ministers responsible for security and justice have pledged to step up their countries' information-sharing efforts in the wake of the Brussels terrorist attacks.
The ministers agreed on a host of measures to jointly combat terrorism including "the systematic feeding, consistent use and interoperability of European and international databases in the fields of security," according to a statement, dpa reported.
