China hopes international community respect UN principles

China hopes that the international community would respect the principles of the UN Charter and the sovereign independence of Syria. China reiterated that the solution to the crisis in Syria is internal and lies in the Syrian state itself. Xinhua news agency reported Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Jiang Yu, as saying that whether the international community should take additional procedures against Syria or not depends on the effectiveness of such procedures on calming the situation and encouraging the solution through political dialogues preserving peace and stability in the Middle East.
