
Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority – Land & Maritime, has discussed cooperation in the area of transport with Navdeep Singh Suri, Indian Ambassador to UAE, when he received him in his office at the ministry on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they also discussed the forthcoming visit of the Indian Transport Minister to the UAE to take part at Middle East Rail, which will be held in Dubai from 7th- 8th March.
The UAE Minister stressed the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deems the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries "an important strategic gain to the two parties."
The Indian ambassador said India takes interest in relations with the UAE, being an important trade hub, and a home to many communities. He added that the UAE also represents a vibrant heart for Arab Gulf and West Asia.
