Ajman, Serbia seeking stronger economic co-operation

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, received on Tuesday Igor Mirovic, President of the Provincial Government of Vojvodina, Serbia, and explored prospects to establish joint trade, and economic and investment projects.

Mirovic is leading a high-level delegation on a visit to the UAE.

The Ajman Ruler called on both Emirati and Serbian investors to tap into investment opportunities and resources to launch joint projects, especially in the industrial sector.

Mirovic informed H.H. Sheikh Humaid that the delegation would explore investment opportunities in the UAE and particularly in the emirate of Ajman. He also spoke about the province’s economic attractions, notably in agro-industrial products.

Abdullah Al Muwaja, Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, later met Mirovic to discuss ways to enhance co-operation between the private sectors in Ajman and Serbia.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and a number of senior local officials were also present at the meeting.
