Beirut - Nna

The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim Ali, met on Thursday with the international human rights' organization head, Haytham Abou Saeed. In a statement issued by the organization's press office, Saeed praised Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rahi's stances in which he uttered worry over the situation in Syria, as well as over the minorities' fear of the terrorist acts committed by some local Syrian opposition parties. "The regressing situation in Syria might drag the whole region into total and comprehensive destruction," he said. Saeed condemned as well violence actions taking place in Bahrain, Jordan, Yemen, Kuwait, Libya and Egypt, calling on the international community not to disregard the dreadful developments in the Arab region, so that it doesn't lose its credibility.
