Adviser to the Secretary General and Envoy to Yemen, Jamal Benomar, arrived to Yemeni capital Sanaa on Saturday. Benomar's 22nd visit to Sanaa comes after a recent report presented to the security council about developments in Yemen's transition process as well as the ongoing national dialogue conference between political groups, which is under the international sponsorship and UN supervision. The UN envoy said in a statement that during this visit he will prepare his report about the political process in Yemen and present it to the security council within the next weeks. He added that he will also prepare for the next Friends of Yemen meeting, which will be held in New York. Benomar will meet with the working groups, the presidency, and the national dialogue conciliation committee to discuss UN's support to the conference.
