Tunisian authorities are planning to open an embassy in Libya

Tunisian authorities are planning to open an embassy in Libya in the next few days, and decided to postpone bringing the Tunisian children from Libyan prisons for security reasons. On the other hand, government sources said that, commander of the Libyan Army, Khalifa Hafter will be soon in Tunisia to discuss an initiative to solve the Libyan crisis, as he declared his approval to meet the Tunisian president in the light of the Tunisian - Algerian - Egyptian initiative, confirming the strong relations between Libya and Tunisia.
He added that, the political agreement under the supervision of the United Nations didn’t solve the crisis or achieve anything, while Tripoli is still under the militias’ control, denying any existence of a Russian military base east of Libya.
In the light of the Tunisian initiative to solve the Libyan crisis, which has the support of all neighboring countries and the international community, and despite the leaks saying that the African Union is to start an initiative of its own to solve this crisis, some experts said that the clashes between “Dignity” movement and “El Wefak” government are nothing but nonsense, and the solution must be political and peaceful, and the international community has already rolled out a military solution.
UN envoy, Martin Kobler visited Benghazi for the second time last week, and during his first visit he met with heads of House of Representatives, but the last week visit was with Khalifa Hafter, who was refusing to meet him for almost a year.
Khalifa Hafter will be received by many Arab and foreign leaders, and he will visit senior political officials in Algeria. Some Algerian media said that this visit is like a confession from an important country, that there are no objections about Hafter being assigned to important positions in the future in Libya, who doesn’t hide his wish to run for presidency.
