
Seven individuals were killed when the Syrian regime launched an air strike against targets in east of Allepo, northern Syria, said a source Friday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the seven deceased individuals were from the same family, adding that the attack by the Assad regime's air force was targeting locations for the Syrian opposition.
Meanwhile, the coalition air force, led by the US, launched sorties against locations in Syria believed to been harboring fighters from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIL).
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources as saying that the coalition air strikes were targeting ISIL locations east of Deir ez-Zor.
