The Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces has formed seven administrative committees, in its regular meeting in Turkey. An emergency diplomatic committee will pressure the United Nations into withholding the $519 million aid it is planning to give to the Syrian government. A second committee will provide technical and material internet and telephone support to the rebels. Another committee has been commissioned to patrol the border crossings. A fourth committee will deal with the Ras al-Ain crisis. There are also committees for refugees, dealing with those wounded in the revolution, and engaging in peace talks. The seven committees will deal with matters until an interim government is formed. Former Prime Minister Riyad Farid Hijab is in contention to lead the Syrian coalition's new interim government.
