Damascus - Arab Today

At least 60 people were killed on Friday mainly as a result of the regime's artillery bombardment on the northern cities of Aleppo and Al-Hasakah, and the fighting between regular troops and opposition forces in several parts of the country. In its night update, the Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) reported 20 deaths in Aleppo, 14 in Al-Hasakah, 10 on the outskirts of Damascus, seven in Homs, three in Daraa, two in Idlib and one in Al-Qunaitera. In Al-Tadhamon district, to the south of Damascus, the Free Syrian Army engaged with the regular troops amid fierce air attacks and mortar shelling on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Saad, Al-Mazzah and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad. The air force launched over 20 sorties to attack opposition forces on the road between Fleita and Arsal, the SRGC added. Source: KUNA
